The Craft
Traditional Leaded glass is the cornerstone of our studio. We meticulously cut and assemble each pane, securing them with lead came that is then cemented with glazing putty to provide both strength and weather-proofing.
Lead Foil, uses a thin adhesive copper foil that is then soldered together to hold the glass pieces together. This technique often lends itself to smaller individual pieces and more complex shapes.
Many of our pieces combine both Leaded and Foiled elements as well as wire overlay to create unique and interesting art.
